  • Blackheads around my nostrils ??

I have blackheads on my nose, nostrils and around them and on my cheeks. I've heard of these biore strip things and i dont know where to buy them from and i dont know how much they cost so how do i remove them at home. Its really painful when i try squeezing them because of the areas there in what do i do ?

P.S dont tell me to buy any products because i said in the question 'AT HOME'Blackheads around my nostrils ??
You can buy Biore in BootsBlackheads around my nostrils ??
Try putting your face over a bowl of steaming water with a drop of lemon in it,then put a towel over your head trapping the steam. This will act like a sauna and release the traped dirt in your poures.Hope you find this works,it will also clear your nasal passages!
Try putting ice on your nose for a while, that will kill the pain or even Bonjella if you have some in the house.
You can buy Biore or many other pore cleaning strips from most chemists but they are expensive - about 拢3 for 6 strips.

I recommend putting boiling water in a bowl place your face over it with a towel over your head to trap the steam, stay there for as long as you can - this will open up the pores. Once the pores are open you will be able to gently squeeze the blackheads using tissue around your fingers quite pain free. Then wash the area thoroughly using a non-perfumed soap such as simple.

Try using a facial scrub (you can buy own brands for about 拢1) twice a weeks around the troublesome area.

Be persistant - no results are immediate.
My personal advice would be to go to a beautician. I struggled with this at home for years (usually with the steaming procedure with a towel), probably because I couldn't see what I was doing. In my experience scrubs and strips are also not half as effective as going to a professional which is often not much more expensive. You will get much better results if someone else does it for you.

The professionals use a special implement which is much less damaging to the surrounding skin than squeezing with your fingers. Perhaps you could buy one of those if you really want to do this at home.
i have done a beauty course and done a dermatological course too! i would have to say steam, squeeze with tissue and start using face creams such as cleansing and moisturiser, dermatological own brand, go into a college where they do beauty courses and book in for a facial its half price! good luck.
I use biore strips %26amp; I now use garnier blackhead pads %26amp; that works. You have to buy items to make to the problem go away.
Baking powder apply onto areas...........Leave for while and wash offf...
In my opinion the strips don't do a grand job and then having opened the pores leave them open more causing more blackheads.

Just place a hot (as hot as you can bear without burning) flannel on your face then gently tease blackheads out. Don't squeeze more than you can bear.

Then use a toner or something after. If you don't have one (and don't want to buy one) then just gently pat your face dry with a clean towel.

Avoid putting your hands to your face and always make sure you wash them thoroughly as this is how most dirt transfers to our faces.
have a facial steam..boil the kettle..keep towel over head and put your head over hot water in a bowl...for at least 15 mins..then squeeze them out x will be easier and less painfull x X x

Make sure you cleanse, tone and moisturise at least once a week x X x
just soak a face towel in hot water drain and put on face.. this will make ur pores open cus of the heat and then squeeze comes out easy
My friend used strips and she said that she wasn't impressed yet I have and was both surprised and pleased with the results. However, the are quite costly. I would recommend having a steam facial (Over a basin of hot water) for about 15 minutes and then squeezing very gently to try and get the dirt out. Don't squeeze more than you can bear and stop when it hurts too much. It works for me!
dont wash ure face with soap this is wat causes black heads just use hot water u wont get anymore black heads after this x
Dont worry they're not blackheads, most likely its the beginning of a moustache.
to prevent blackheads, you need your pores to be deeply cleansed so you need alfa and beta hydroxy acids. What are they? They are the main ingredients inside the products in drugstore, the most important one is salicylic acid (beta hydroxy) and you can find it inside asprin. And you can find alfa hydroxy from the fruit acids: bilberry, orange, lemon, sugar cane etc. Mix an asprin tablet with lemon juice and apply this to the blackheads. Be carefull it will dry your skin, use an oil free moisturizer.

    Blackheads and poress!!?

    Have you try proactive?
My brother used to have really bad blackheads and acne he used proactive and it really worked. its a little expencive but its def worth it. It took about a month before he seen any results though and was completly cleared up with-in 6 months but he had it really bad!!
I use Neutrogena Visibly Clear Cleansing Cushions for blackheads. They really work and are gentlr enough to use everyday if you need to. Also make sure that any foundation you use is non-comedogenic as this is non pore blocking which will result in less blackheads. As for pores, you could try Clinique's pore minimizing solutions or facial scrubs.
sometimes the makeup you use could make pores bigger.
Retin a damages your skin. i had a problem like yours. I use proactive faithfully. They have an amazing sulfer mask that i used everyday for 30 days and my pores look normal now.It costs about 45 dollars for a 3 month supply, and you get the mask free. You should also steam your face over a pot of hot steamy water to open the pores, then use your face cleanser it will help allow your pores to be opened to clean ou those blackheads. It is not an overnight thing to get rid of black heads. The reasin they are black is not from dirt it is because the oils have built up for so long that it turns to a black color. After you cleanser you need to put a cold wash cloth on your face for a few minutes to close your pores, then you need to use a toner, then a moisturizer. You gotta do this 2x a day to improve your skin. All products must read oil-free non-comedogenic.You can buy products like these at wal-mart or you can purchase a kit from pro-active

Why don't you try cutting out all junk food, take away and you will see that the black heads and zits will go away. It's all the crappie food fats that are trying to escape your body.

Eat fruit, water and keep your face washed with soap. Zits are the body's defense again the over supply of oils to the body and it's the only way that the body can get rid of it. Your body is the fuel pump and your skin is the outlet.

I found out the same thing a change of the diet will help you a lot and it will be better for you in the long run.
I have horrible blackheads and big pores. Here's some things that have worked for me without irritating:

blackhead facial mask:, mix 1 cup of oatmeal with 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and three tablespoons of aloe vera juice. Give yourself a Blackhead facial once per week for at least 1 to 2 months and you will notice results.

Apply ice to pimples for less than a minute a few times a day. Be careful not to leave on skin too long

apply a mixture of water; baking soda paste and tea tree oil on your face and allow it to dry. You then have to wash your face and carefully remove the mixture

Extract juice of one lemon and mix with equal quantity of rose water. Apply this mixture on the face and let it stay for about half an hour. Wash the face with fresh water.

I like the tea tree oil and baking soda options. i even GENTLY reub in a tiny bit of baking soda mixed with water for a scrub for blackheads. the ice is good for the bigger ones.

    Good Luck!!

    best answer? =)
    Hi,

Here is some information on Aloe Vera and Tea Tree which may be of some help to you.

The watery gel from Aloe Vera plant is a highly effective natural cure against Acne. The enzyme-rich gel has very soothing anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. It can also be taken internally and helps clean up and detox the digestive tract. This in turn can help clear up the skin.

Gel or juice of Aloe Vera is highly useful in fading of acne scars. You can grow Aloe Vera plant in your home and apply freshly taken pure Aloe Vera gel to your scar. Otherwise many branded cosmetic companies manufactures pure Aloe Vera gel, so you can choose the best cosmetic companies to get Aloe Vera gel.

Vitamin A is also a natural and effective Acne cure. Vitamin A promotes healthy skin.

Vitamin E also helps in countering Acne. It is a natural antioxidant and beneficial for the skin.

Tea Tree Oil is obtained from the Melaleuca alternifoliais tree from Australia. It is very effective against Acne as it contains bacteria-fighting substances called Terpenes. Acne is often caused by bacteria and the Terpenes either outright kill them or weaken them enough to be destroyed by protective antibodies. There are very little side effects from using Tea Tree Oil.

Are you using any benzoil peroxide? I had acne from late middle school all through high school, it's kinda eased up a little bit since then but I still have to use skin treatment. I've tried Proactive and all that crap to no avail. My best result was with some Dan Kern brand stuff I ordered on the net. Just some simple facial cleanser and some benzoil peroxide. It's even better that the bottles come in big sizes, so they last a while, and the benz. peroxide doesn't dry up my skin like the Proactive kind did. I'd stay away from moisturizers, especially if you have oily skin like mine. Those clay masks acne treatment ointments never really showed an improvement by the way. Also, sounds dumb but drink more water, at least try to drink stuff that's clear. It's helped sometimes, and I've also found that no certain food seems to worsen my acne. Hope some of that helps if at all. Oh.. and stay away from Selson Blue shampoos, some people I know have used that shampoo as a mask, I tried it and not only did it not work, but dried the heck out of skin like never before, I had to lather on lotion afterwards lol
showering at least 2 times a day, expirment with different soaps, use an acne soap but if your skin is dry then use a normal soap, also change your pillow case once a day, change clothes at least 2 times a day after showers, wash bedding at least once a week, exresizeing to sweat 2+ hours a day, not touching your face unless u just washed your hands, eating healthy, drinking 1 cup water per 陆 hr
for acne: in the night before you go to bed, mix half and half of tea tree oil and sweet almond oil.. apply with cotton ball :)

idk what this is for but it improved my acne: make oatmeal, wait for it to cool down, then mix it with one egg white until it makes a cream :D hope this helps ~~
sunlight will help, as will cutting out refined sugar and fried fatty foods from your diet. also try putting fresh lemon slices on your cheeks, my roommate swears by this.

if diet changes don't improve the condition, try accutane.
Apply a honey mask to your face once or twice a week. Honey has antibacterial properties so it is great for disinfecting and healing blemishes. More such solutions at http://solutionsforpimples.blogspot.com/
Hello, I'm a doctor. Use accutane. I think that you want to get more info about it. Please go to ----%26gt; http://natural-treatment.notlong.com/?q=accutane%26amp;qid=20090611222940AAV78ow

    Blackheads in ear?

I have blackheads in my ears and i dont know how to get rid of them. Also, theres a blackhead that turned into a pimple and it is verrry painful. any help on easing the pain or making them go away? (the blackheads and the painful pimple)

    help?Blackheads in ear?
next time you go to your doctor, tell him about it, and he will give you a little bottle with cream(can't remeber the name) and you apply it nightly or every other, and in three to four months it will clear upBlackheads in ear?
i had that happen once i popped it with a bobby pin.

take the rounded end wash it first then slide it over the pimple. then wash your ear.

this should also help in removing some of the blackheads.

try washing your ears out every night before you go to bed.

dry them well after showers and swimming too.
how far inside your ear? if you can pop them then try to get a needle and pop them..hopefully they don't get to bigg cause if they do then it might stop your hearing..yes go see what the doctor can give you..i wish you luck!
take a pen, be very careful.... and pop it!! youll only get the bacteria out , wash it with soap and water to keep it from more bacteria!!

    Hope it helps you

    Blackheads/Whiteheads?

Okay I'll just get straight to the point, on my nose only, I seem to have these little spots all on it, not a spot like a freckle, like a spot that i can pinch something out if I really wanted to, and its ALL over my entire nose (since there is so many of them, I really think its impossible to get every single one) and even when I do decide to like pinch one out, it almost seems like it comes back haha...so a few questions...

    1. What are they?

    2. Is there an easier way to get rid of it/them?

    Thanks :)Blackheads/Whiteheads?
If the stuff that comes out is dark then it is a blackhead otherwise, it's a white head. It's the dirt that gets accumulated in your pores. Make sure you wash your face twice a day with a good cleanser like noxema and moisturize right away. I go to a spa and get facials every 4 months and I was told that microbermabrasion helps. You can buy the product from a local drugstore. Olay has one and it's a lot cheaper to do it at home than getting it done at a salon ($100 for a treatment). Getting whiteheads can not be avoided but can be minimized by using products (make up, etc) that are non comodogenic.Blackheads/Whiteheads?
They're caused by blocked pores. But I've big pores on my nose(and a big nose to top it!!lol) so they get blocked(or full) really easily. A good scrub once or twice a week works a treat. Or try pore-strips! Or if you like the satisfying pitch then keep doing that. Just don't damage your skin!
they are the dirt that stay in our pore.so take a cotton and put the white egg(don't mix with the yellow)then stick to your nose until dry then remove the cotton, and u will see the result at the cotton.

Dry skin using facewash vs. blackheads?

When I use facewash in the shower, I get dry skin after I get out but only on my nose, and it starts to peel. However, if I go a few days without using facewash, I start to get small blackheads on my nose. I do not have bad skin but I do get small blackheads on my nose a lot. What should I do to avoid both problems??Dry skin using facewash vs. blackheads?
Use an oil-free moisterizer after washing your face. No matter what skin problem a person has (acne, oily, combination, etc) moisterizer, w/ SPF, should always be used.Dry skin using facewash vs. blackheads?
Firstly using substances derived from vitamin A like retin-a or tazarotene, to reduce inflammation of the skin and to unplug pores. Retin-A can cause skin reddening at first but this is quite normal as the skin's blood supply is improved and younger looking skin begins to appear presenting a youthful complexion. Using a product that includes zinc will also help the vitamin a function better.

This should help. Rub oatmeal paste on face, leave it to dry for 15 minutes before washing off with cold water. Beat white part of an egg. Add one teaspoon of honey and with a cotton swab, apply it on face. Keep it around half an hour and then rinse with warm water. This is also good for blackheads and dark spots.
