PLEASE HELP!Blackheads on my nose, so GROSS. how can i make them go away?! FAST????
Get a good exfoliator and use it after you cleanse your face in the shower where there is steam. Gently massage the exfoliator in circular motion, rinse. Once you get out you could very, very gently squeeze out the blackhead. Cover your fingers w/tissue, gauze or cotton so you don't dig in w/ your nails. Once your done tone and moisturize (you could also mask before you tone) A clay type mask will draw out more impurities. Hope this helps.Blackheads on my nose, so GROSS. how can i make them go away?! Okay, try using astringent on your nose (there's a Clinique kind...I use SEA BREEZE). It'll sting, maybe even badly, but blackheads mean that there's dirt or something caught in your pores. I know...gross. But scrub firmly but not too hard, and that should work.
Try steaming to open the pores and then gently squeeze the blackheads out. More home remedies posted at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/blackheads.h鈥?/a>
First use an astringent (alcohol, witch hazel, plenty of name brands). That will help the appearance. Then wash with something like Phisoderm to keep the grease away every day. Don't waste your money on expensive acne creams-most contain astringents anyway.
Honestly I had the same problem as you and what you need is Retin A. You could ask your family doctor and they'd prescribe it no problem, or try a walk in clinic or dermatologist (but they sometimes take forever to get an appointment with). The Retin A, is a derivative of vitamin A and basically it slows down cell turnover so you get less dead cells clogging your pores and causing blackheads. I tried squeezing the blackheads out, biore nose strips to no avail. I've used Retin A for years now, and now I don't really have any noticible blackheads.
Cleanse your face with unboiled milk, gently rub a coarse cloth dipped in milk to remove the blackheads. Steam your face with herbs like lavender, lemon peel and mint leaves added to the water and let the skin soak up its goodness.
